Our Story
A Family Recipe From Chiang Mai
Weera Thai began in 1978 when Suweera Thongthaisairi and his wife Sutsawat Promkul opened their restaurant in Chiang Mai, Thailand, specializing in Northeastern "Isaan" cuisine. Their son Peter later brought the family recipes to Las Vegas, opening this Sahara Avenue location in 2010 — the first of what's now several Weera Thai restaurants across the city.
The kitchen still leans on those original recipes, with a menu built around bold, herb-forward Isaan flavors alongside familiar Thai favorites, served in a warm, regal dining room.
Weera Thai gets busy around 6 PM, so reservations are recommended for dinner. Walk-ins are always welcome too — call ahead at (702) 873-8749 to check current wait times.
